Jay-Z & Kanye West – Otis

The Throne further cements its royal position within the industry as Jay-Z and Kanye West unveil the official video to their single “Otis.” As previously reported, famed director Spike Jonze created an epic visual filled with fireworks, fist bumps, a fast car and what not in order to emphasize and general larger-than-life status of both rappers. Subtly swaggadocious.

Bruno Mars – The Lazy Song (Alternate Version)

After going bananas with his friends in one take, Bruno Mars serves an entertaining alternate version of “The Lazy Song” music video. Instead of taking action in front of the lenses, the crooner passes the spot to famed actor Leonard Nimoy aka Star Trek‘s original Mr. Spock. Dressed in a housecoat, the 80-year-old actor is taking it a bit too easy in this comedic clip. Enjoy!

Is Tropical – The Greeks (Video)

Parisian visual creators Megaforce direct this new music video for Is Tropical’s “The Greeks.” Mixing a bit of animated and real-life footage, the video does a solid job of making the French suburbs look official. “The Greeks” comes off the band’s upcoming Native To release. Enjoy!

.

Cee Lo Green – I Want You (Hold On to Love)

The Grammy Award-winning Cee Lo Green provides a brand new visual interpretation today for his fourth single, “I Want You.” In usual Cee Lo Green fashion, you’ll find a lot feathers and European accents in the outfits, with a lot of festive activities taking place in the background. The single can be found on his latest album, Lady Killer which is available now through iTunes. See how the lady killer does it right above.

Raekwon – Snake Pond (Video)

Legendary NYC spitter Raekwon debuts the video for “Snake Pond,” his latest single off Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang. Gritty and violent, with the trademark Wu-Tang martial arts inflection, the video follows Raekwon as he seeks revenge on a presumable enemy in a dark urban environment. A winning combination of Tarantino and Notorious B.I.G.,  ”Snake Pond” may not be for everyone – but it’s classic Raekwon.

KiD CuDi – Marijuana

Presented is the music video for KiD CuDi’s “Marijuana,” a track featured on his Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager album, which dropped in November of last year. The track finds Cudder reuniting with Dot Da Genius who has been responsible for early tracks like “Cleveland” or “Highs N Lows,” while sharing his well-documented soft spot for the herbal way of life. “Marijuana” was directed, shot and edited by actor Shia LaBeouf. Enjoy!

Kanye West featuring Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj – Monster

Unveiled is the official music video for Kanye West’s “Monster,” featured on the musician’s highly praised My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The cut features appearances from Rick Ross, Jay-Z & Nicki Minaj in what will surely be a controversial whirlwind considering the steady amount of corpses, decapitation, sex and just about everything else you can imagine in a horror flick. The video does begin with a disclaimer though. What are your thoughts?

Bad Meets Evil (Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″) – Fast Lane

Bad Meet Evil, aka Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″, present the first visual for the duo’s upcoming Hell: The Sequel. The lead single, “Fast Lane,” sees the dynamic duo in some entertaining animation interaction. Lyrics flash across the screen, which invite the viewer to rhyme along both rappers from an abandoned warehouse. Hell: The Sequel is out June 14 via Shady Records.

Kanye West – Runaway

I always thought that it was either love or hate for Kanye, because you can only deal with absolutes. Either he is absolutely crazy or an absolute genius. Finally after numerous previews, artist Kanye West debuts his first film, Runaway, which features music from his forthcoming album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Runaway is story of a phoenix played by lingerie model Selita Ebanks who falls down from the cosmos. She is rejected for her differences while on earth is eventually torn away from West and returns to her own realm. Ok, Artistically the movie is visual eye candy, it’s like watching a hip hop Stanley Kubrick movie. Weird and artsy at the same time. See for yourself and you decide “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” is set to release November 22nd.

KiD CuDi feat. Kanye West – Erase Me

After the song first emerged in July, KiD CuDi unveils the official video for “Erase Me” featuring Kanye West which also serves as the lead single for his upcoming Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. The visual is an entertaining rock star satire in which actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse makes an cameo appearance as his Superbad-character McLovin. The clip was directed by Hypebeast-resident blogger Jason Goldwatch. Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager is due November 9. Enjoy!
